Marine VHF Radio Refresher (3hrs)

 

A 3 hour Refresher on the operations and procedures of operating a radio, although aimed at the Marine users, there is a lot of transferable skills to operating Business & PMR Radios.

• Routine Calling
• Channel Selection
• Operating a Radio in Club / Business Environment
• Radio Checks
• Using DSC Functions of Radio
• Mayday, Pan-Pan, Securitie Procedures
• PLB, EPIRB & AIS Location
• Questions & Answers

 

This course will be Practical and will be using Marine Training Radios and delivered by a RYA SRC Assessor.

 

A CPD Certificate of Attendance will be issued.

 

This is NOT an RYA SRC Radio Course, and they will be NO formal Examination or Option off.
